Istria300 Dawn Patrol in Klagenfurt – join our community ride
Early mornings, empty roads, and a shared love for cycling – the Istria300 Dawn Patrol is now part of Klagenfurt’s cycling scene. From June 5, 2025, the Schwimm Aktiv Club (SAC), in cooperation with Istria300, became the first official Dawn Patrol partner outside of Croatia, bringing this popular sunrise ride to the hills of Carinthia.
Every Thursday at 5:30 AM, cyclists gather for a relaxed yet energizing group ride through the scenic surroundings of Klagenfurt. Just like the original Dawn Patrol in Poreč, the ride offers a chance to connect with like-minded riders and kick-start the day in the best possible way – on two wheels, with fresh air and rising light.
The ride lasts around two hours and covers approximately 50 km at a steady group pace (starting from 25 km/h). Whether you’re training for Istria300 or simply want to enjoy the atmosphere of an early-morning ride, everyone is welcome – SAC members and non-members alike. No registration needed – just show up and ride.
