HEP - a supporter of sport in Croatia
When a company has such an immense impact on the society, as it is the case with the national power company Hrvatska elektroprivreda (HEP), and when the society has such a strong impact on the business operations of HEP, there are many overlapping areas where partnerships are possible and joint implementation of projects aiming at improving the quality of living.
As a national company, ever since it has been established, Hrvatska elektroprivreda has been focused on promoting the Croatian culture and heritage, increasing the quality of living in the community and supporting Croatian sports. Since sport is the number one promoter of Croatia, Croatian people and their values in the world, HEP has long been supporting many sports events, projects and national teams with the intention to contribute to the success and excellence of the Croatian athletes, but also to encourage as many people in Croatia as possible to take up sports.
HEP believes in the proverb “A Healthy Mind in a Healthy Body” and that the athletes and their results should serve as role models for the young generations. Therefore, Hrvatska elektroprivreda actively promotes sportsmanship and is proud of the increasing number of their own workers who have taken up sports and achieved respectable results in many competitions.
