Leave the valley behind: the “KTM Revelator Alto” range
KTM Bike Industries has a long tradition in bicycle racing. In 1978, the first roadbike was produced in Mattighofen, Austria. Since then, KTM has consistently maintained significant involvement in bicycle racing projects.
In 2018, the name ALTO was introduced into KTM’s roadbike lineup. ALTO, derived from the Italian/Spanish word for “high,” symbolizes the bike’s intended use as a mountain climber. During its development, feedback from athletes was incorporated, along with experiences from the world’s toughest races.
Additionally, the ALTO frame underwent the most rigorous testing phase in KTM’s history.
Already the pre-series prototypes were sent to the “Hell of the North” and had to prove themselves on the pavé of “Paris-Roubaix”. At the same time, the perfect aerodynamics were fine-tuned in the wind tunnel. The final values confirm both: The frames ideal climbing skills as well as the low air resistance.
