The Glocknerkönig is one of the most legendary cycling races in Austria and leads along the Grossglockner High Alpine Road – one of the most beautiful and challenging mountain routes in Austria – up to the highest mountain in Austria. Every year, hundreds of cycling enthusiasts take up the challenge to prove their skills and endurance in the Classic or Ultra competition. Both categories start in Bruck an der Glocknerstraße and lead right into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Whether professional or amateur cyclist – those who reach the finish at over 2,400 metres can count themselves among the true kings of the mountains!
